The Alburni is a short mountain range in Southern Italy separating the plains from the taller and longer Appennini Mountains. Several old and small villages are disseminated along the top of those mountains, overseeing the plains on one side and the Appennini on the other. They are far from large cities and reachable only trough curly and steep roads. The life in those villages flows slowly. They are mostly populated by older people who refused to adapt to modern life. Traditions are hardly affected by almost anything. People in such villages are slowly disappearing, and not being replaced by
