This image was taken in early 2000 as part of a larger body of work titled, Forgotten Places. It's about retracing my childhood in my hometown of Great Yarmouth, which is on the East Coast of England. The cafe was empty at that time, and I took one photograph through the window, imagining who might sit at the tables for an ice cream or coffee. I took the photo on a 120 film camera, a Mamiya 6.
