I had the desire to shave my hair with the purpose of letting go of something that was somehow weighing me down. What made me think twice was the fact that many people made comments of: "you're going to look very masculine" "but your hair is very pretty!" "I wouldn't do it if I were you." After a long time I decided to just do it and photograph this moment of intimacy with the help of my friends. This later led me to document the same process in other people who were searching to free themselves from prejudices and what other people will think. A process of finding ourselves.
