I feel the need to undigitalise the digital and I wanted to go back to the basics, slowing down the process. So I bought a 13x18 plate camera with bellows and a 200mm F6.3 lens mounted on it. I took a digital photo of the image projected on the original ground glass, but it gives a very strong vignette (the glass is dark). So I decided to make several photos while moving my digital camera and combine them together in post so that the whole image is 'evenly' lighted. The textures and softness is all due to the lens, the process and the glass plate, I did not add any texture afterwards.
