Growing up in post-war Vietnam, generational trauma shaped my view of family. Loyalty, responsibility, and acceptance created a sense of community but also burdened us. Family was a lighthouse and a turbulent sea. I learned to decipher hidden intentions and avoid emotional landmines. Through 35mm film, I explore memories, evoking nostalgia. The fragmented photographs portray tension and delve into disconnection and contradiction. Minimal context sparks curiosity, reflecting my younger self's unknowing.
