The Polaroids in Natura, refers to the past; not to imitate it, but to evoke it. Scandinavians believe that nature will revitalize your body and as a Norwegian artist, I think about our relationship with the nude and freedom of nature. This freedom is sadly not for all. Inspired by the work of Anne Brigman (1869-1950) and Edvard Munch (1863-1944). Brigman's photographs depict naked women in primordial, naturalistic contexts. She did something only men were "allowed" to do at the time. Munch represents Vitalism; a distinctive period where the body, nature and health were at the centre.
