“See the color paint the light.” Pigment printers today provide new opportunities to better follow this timeless edict of Provincetown plein air painters. As a photography director there for a gallery that included these Cape Cod School Impressionists, my connection has only strengthened. Ten inks reach the depth of the Kodachrome palette. A clear tonal luminance is possible, with expressive shaping hues contributing to become these colors of memory. And so after a long wait it seems, I return to make prints that can finally fulfill my vision. Archival too!
