There's something very comfortable about using a film camera for street photography - for some reason, people seem to be more relaxed having their picture taken when they see it's just 'an old film camera' unlike initially being a little suspicious of digital ones. Interesting that! So Brighton tends to be my Go-To for general street photography and less so for London, where our small group of film photographers meet together for the day to catch up, wander around and snap away, and have coffee. I love the intimacy felt when holding a film camera and the anticipation of taking a photo.
