In the north-west suburbs of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, there is a community which has been deprived of their right to enjoy the coast of a river. This river is called Río Reconquista and it is considered the second most polluted of the country after the worldwide known Riachuelo. Many of the people belonging to this territory lives in underserved neighborhoods in which community work and grassroots organizations are crucial for the wellbeing of their inhabitants. This series of pictures follow the life and activities of this community, one that has many things to share.
