This series is part of a bigger project intitled "The day after", trip that I made in 1995 in the Indian Reservations of Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and State of Washington. What really hit me at the time was the strenght and pride of this people, their attachment to the land and roots. These portraits came out of silence, there were no words to help me "see" their souls but everything was so spontaneous. They came in front of me as in a movie, I couldn't but feel literally fascinated by their amazing stories.
