I’ve always been attracted to exploring shape, symmetry and asymmetry in my over fifty-year career. Instead of the traditional bowl of fruit, veggies, and a dead rabbit or pheasant, these still lifes focus on basic shapes and primary color. I arrange industrial item shaped like circles, squares, and triangles on patterns to create shadows, reflection, depth and dimension within the image. There is a definite nod to Dada, De Stijl, and other influences from my design background.
