Jennifer stages temporary sculptures in a forest clearing within shouting distance of her parents' home in the Upper Palatinate. Her 'outdoor photo studio' is a place of recreation and reconnection to her emotional and cultural roots. Viewers initially see a commercial forest, i.e. a space of use and nature shaped by human intervention. With sparingly used art objects of unclear origin and purpose, harmonising with the surrounding colours, a consistent, subtle colour concept and surreal lighting moods, she creates images that oscillate atmospherically between fairytale forest and cathedral.
