The project started in Austria, with unsupported bicycle journeys, carrying 55kg of gear. Over 2 years and 8807km 4 photographs were taken, cycling over months in each cardinal direction, always started in Salzburg, capturing lesser-known landscapes with a personal touch. The images are shot in b&w, using a Linhof 617sIII large-format analog camera. Each photograph is unique, finally darkroom printed on FineArt Baryta paper in a size of 3x1m, fully hand-crafted. The project emphasizes slow photography, with a focus on quality over quantity, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces in an edition of 1.
