In my installation Endlings, I explore the impact of noise pollution on biodiversity in Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen by making sound visible through cymatics. Human presence in the park is audibly intrusive, raising the question: how does noise affect wildlife? I visualized the songs of eleven critically endangered birds as cymatic patterns and cyanotype prints. The title refers to the last surviving individual of a species, highlighting the fragility of life. Endlings reveals how noise pollution disrupts ecosystems and invites reflection on our impact on nature.
