With the help of photography, I tried to capture my very personal experience of having a child with depression. The submitted works combine my daughter's painted self-portraits with photographic portraits that I have made of Wiktoria over the last many years. I poured wax on some of the photos and then removed it, trying to symbolically get the baby back. I covered a few portraits with Japanese tissue paper and then tore them off in some places. The pink color began to appear in her daughter's self-portraits in the process of convalescence and was a symbol of hope.
