These fruits and vegetables —these edibles— have a certain elegance. Usually they are just bought, chopped cooked and eaten. However I take time to find the “perfect” ones, the ones used for my portraits. They are chosen for their shape, their tone or for how their skin reflects light. Looking through my lens, I discover additional flaws or imperfections, perhaps ones that i had previously missed. The organic specimens could be deemed ugly or strange, but their uniqueness makes them worthy of my camera’s attention.
