Latin America has long been exoticized and reduced to myth, shaped by colonial narratives that erase its complexity. Echoes of Truth seeks to dismantle these distortions, revealing the true faces of Latin America—Black, Indigenous, mestizo, Caribbean—each carrying histories both inherited and rewritten. Frantz Fanon wrote of the colonized as both visible and invisible, seen only through imposed narratives. These portraits challenge that, rejecting the monolithic gaze and reclaiming identity. Latin America is not just a symbol—it is lived, complex, and human.
