Monty, the central figure of the series is a member of the Hungarian punk scene. I first saw him on a concert photo - his aura was so magnetic, I knew I had to get to know him, and take his photos. Monty consciously rejects the behavioral and moral norms of society, going against all cultural restraints, he believes in freedom. We immediately had a strong bond and his openness made the presence of the camera completely natural and provided unfiltered access to his everyday life. My series documents his character, environment and the unbound freedom generated by his unique worldview.
