One morning while snorkeling with my fiancée at Manzanillo Beach in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, as we were putting on our fins by the shore, we noticed circles forming on the water’s surface. Curious, we put on our masks and saw hundreds of fish swimming in opposite directions. I submerged my 35mm Kodak underwater camera and didn’t hesitate to snap a photo. When it was developed, it was delightful to see that natural dance captured on film.
