Myla. An angel who lives forever in the hearts of her parents, but who also means so much to me. She was stillborn at the end of a full-term pregnancy. She was so wanted, so loved, and I think of her almost every day. Photographing her farewell was an intense experience, a moment where everything came together—grief, love, vulnerability, but also the eternal bond between her and her parents. In that moment, I felt how valuable this work is, how images can help capture a love that never fades. She has shaped me as a photographer, as a person, and I carry her name in my heart.
