Cronos devours his son - the most horrific picture i could see as a new father. The Horror of it makes me think of how much harm i can and will do to my son. It doesn't matter if i don't intend to. By doing and by not doing. Even by just being his father. My son, my partner, my family, my friends. Cronos devours his son - because of fear of being overthrown, because of his fear of change. Time devours everything, nothing will remain. Everyone around us, who is important to us, is the cause of our happiness and our pain. 8x10 contact prints of orthochromatic film and mordançage
