Perfection does not exist. Everything in nature has unique characteristics. Our bodies are constantly pressured by standards and expectations that push toward an ideal of perfection. Yet, just like in nature, every imperfection makes us rare and valuable. These photos aim to create an aesthetic connection between nature and the female body. They pair the sinuous forms of a plant with the soft curves of a woman's side. Both deviate from traditional standards of perfection yet are authentic and beautiful. Shot on expired film to highlight the grain and imperfections of the film itself.
