"The Bonding”, which was inspired by a dream, depicts 2 women during a ritual: one woman kneads dough on the belly of another woman. This act symbolizes intuition, passion, fertility and the vital center. Through the kneading of the dough, a bond is created between the women. They knead themselves into a state of trance which is intensified by the candels surrounding them. The act of kneading is used to celebrate this connection and the creative process that arises from it, thereby creating something new on another, invisible level.
