Luogo Sacro (Sacred Place) is about the hidden landscape of shadows, linked to natural cycles, to the duality of the visible and the invisible, of the superficial and the underground, of man, of nature and their relationship. The photos were created with an analogical process, its repetitiveness becomes a ritual for me, the slowness a necessity, the wait a space for reflection. The images are collected as in a diary of the last two years, in a rhythmic succession that draws from poetry and connects to painting as a need to fix the absence and to make visible what is destined to disappear.
