The Resistance of Light is an analog photography project documenting the 2024 protest wave in Türkiye. From Saraçhane to Maltepe, it captures the emotional depth of resistance — students, women, children, elders — all demanding justice. Working with film, I focused on ethical witnessing: protecting identities while honoring presence. Each frame preserves not just action but dignity — a child’s drumbeat, a masked protester holding Can Atalay’s image, clowns protesting Mahir Polat’s arrest. In a time of repression, this is a visual archive of collective memory and resilience.
