Where does reality end and imagination begin? Are we the fixed image we present, or the shifting presence behind it? Charlotte Aeb blurs this line by merging sculpture and photography. Through clay masks and light-sensitive processes, faces mutate, identities dissolve. Inspired by carnival and ancient rituals, her work becomes a dance of memory, gesture, and transformation. The mask emerges not to hide, but to reveal: a reflection that is both us and other, fixed and fleeting—a fragile trace of becoming.
