Not quite winter, not yet spring, just a pause in muted light: Muted Beginnings is a photographic study of those quiet days between winter and spring, when frost recedes, light returns, and nature begins to breathe again. The series captures the moment when everything stands at a beginning: paths, and shorelines appear reduced, bright, and open. It is the time of first awakenings — delicate, clear, not yet loud. An emergence in silence, carried by light and expectation. Captured with Kodak Ektar 100 and a Mamiya 7 along the quiet shores of Switzerland’s lakes.
