Camino sin Salida is an exploration of memory, loss and grief. It is a photographic revisitation of a frequent walk distant place, accompanied by a beloved, departed dog. The physical location is far away and Nessie’s ashes are now in the sea, yet I return in memory again and again. The photos were taken on a variety of film cameras, primarily Holga and Zenit 12xp. The book consists of 16 hand printed photo lithographs printed on Kitakata washi paper in a hand sewn folio binding with a magnetic closure. All photography, book design, printing and binding was completed by the artist.
