The core material of this project are analogic portraits taken by me and photographers colleagues at the University of Madrid. These pictures, developed and cropped in our laboratory, were delivered to the students at the price of 16 photos, 275 pesetas (1,65€). The archive comprises images from 1984 to 1992. Around those years Spain was a young democracy, awaking fresh from a 40-year long dictatorship and going through a lot of social changes. The young people in the passport photo archive were both active participants and spectators of this change. The project try to invite to reflection.
