The Drops Fall from the Riverside Trees is a photo series inspired by the myth of Narcissus. It explores emotional withdrawal and the inability to connect with others. Narcissus didn’t just fall in love with himself—he rejected all connection, becoming trapped in his own reflection. The series reflects this isolation through emotional fragments rather than narrative, creating a psychological space where self-obsession brings neither comfort nor clarity. Desire turns inward, yet remains unfulfilled. There is no resolution—only the deepening rhythm of repetition and detachment.
