Electrodomestica was made on television sets. In the most traditional Latin American soap operas, the maid stars in a constantly repeating story: the setting changes, but the woman's central drama remains the same: she suffers, dreams, loves in silence, and, inevitably, after fighting against fate, rises socially and economically until she is loved by her co-star. A Cinderella who represents the constant and romantic search for what we are not as Latin Americans, fueling the idea that everything that exists outside our borders is much better than our own reality.
