Since 1999, I have been exploring the photographic cold exposure and development of the Printogram technique. Through various chemicals, it is possible for impressions of, for example, hand lines to appear in photographic paper and become visible as touch marks. Each resulting photograph is a unique original. The printograms deliberately challenge authorship, solely through the use of real technology. In the development process, the final result of the image is invisible until the developer solution is applied; that is, the author can only guess what the photograph will look like.
