My first photo book:Matsuri- World of Japanese festivals.Text: Charlotte Anderson.It coincided with my exhibition of the same title in Nikon Salon,Ginza,Tokyo. It depicts diversity of celebrations of life cycles in communion with gods unchanged from ancient times to nowadays showing the nation's pride and devotion since in their belief the entertainment of deities reflects on their life and prosperity. My iconographic approach stands out as a unique concept emphasizing the power of detail in tight composition,interplay of color,form,symbol,texture that can represent the event as a whole.
