Deena and Andrew’s wedding was a decadent fever dream full of extra and indulgence at every turn. It was like a masterful, unhinged opera. On display was a nude ice sculpture of the couple that melted beneath hanging garlands and orange trees. Inspired by Vanitas, the night was an ode to impermanence, complete with a vintage-inspired four-tier pillared cake cut with a saber, a ghost-shrimp tower guarded by security, and a bridal look ripped from a 17th-century dreamscape. Their wedding was glamorous, irreverent, and symbolic, and one of the most visually rich weddings I’ve ever photographed.
