Salt Water Diaries is my visual exploration of Australia’s east coast, tracing my ever-growing fascination with water’s ability to hold light, colour, and memory. Using film, I slow down the process to capture the play of light, the rhythm of tides, and the intimate spaces where we meet the sea. I follow the coast, chasing how we bond with the ocean in different ways, how we interact with these spaces and the experience of belonging. In the rhythm of tides and shifting textures, I search for moments where the sea makes the ordinary feel dreamlike. The sea holds a special place in my heart.
