My father’s body was discovered on Winslow Gray Road on Cape Cod on November 30th, 2021 at 7:30 a.m. It is estimated that he was struck, killed, and left to die at 5:02 p.m. the prior evening. No suspect has ever been found. In the aftermath, I moved between 2 worlds as I walked back and forth from the stark site of his death to the comfort of his home. I found myself wandering through his house, searching for him, each room empty, exactly as he left it. I began photographing his belongings before they were altered in some way and eventually vanish. This began a visual diary between “us."
