People say that my home state doesn't have a wide cultural or artistic representation as other states in Mexico, and that left me a little unsettle. And this was the beginning of this serie. I wanted to portrait the faces of those who maintain alive the music of the Northeast region of my country, because I got one question in my head: Who is going to record the faces of these regional musicians and dancers for the future? Many of these musicians belong to an older generation, and some other artists are younger. Past and present reunited, and photography can make that possible.
