The Canadian province of Alberta is a rapidly changing place. What was once a mostly agricultural and rural society has now shifted to an urban and fast paced place. This project is an attempt to document what remains of the Alberta of the 20th century before these places cease to exist. These images are of remaining 20th century and earlier structures located in fields and towns spread across the vast southern part of the province. The chosen photographic medium is traditional black and white film to work with the harsh light and harsh weather that can be experienced throughout all seasons
