My grandmother witnessed the murder of her baby sister in Second World War Poland. This trauma was transmitted in an untold way through my mother to me. I got aware of it when I became myself a mother. “Children of the golden Sun” is the attempt of transmuting this pain. An internal prayer. Facing inner violence, contemplating transcendence, longing for the experience of a still awareness. Nature leading the way. Where the sun illuminates truth, the sea facilitates the process of change. For we carry the sun within us. For we carry the sea within us.
