Kodama is a large-format black-and-white photographic project made within the lakes and waterways of the Ontario watershed. Working with large format film, the work considers landscape as an active presence shaped by time, pressure, and memory. Roots, stone, water, and fallen trees register accumulation rather than event. The project privileges slowness, restraint, and material fidelity, approaching landscape as inhabited, responsive, and continually forming.
