This photograph was taken just outside Amsterdam, Netherlands, in the winter of 2025. It was taken on 35mm film (expired Ilford Delta 3200) using a Minolta SRT-303 camera. The photo captures a person enveloped in a thick mist crossing a wooden bridge. The canal’s water underneath shows a reflection of the person, the bridge and the surrounding trees framing the scene. The misty air gives an eerie feel that is amplified by the grain of the expired film.
