Memento Mori means “remember that you will die.” This photography series explores how death is integrated into everyday life through cultural habits, rituals, and spaces. By observing gestures of care, remembrance, and abandonment, the project documents how the living coexist with the dead as part of daily routines. Rather than focusing on loss, the series approaches death as a social and cultural presence shaped by tradition, repetition, and collective memory.
