This series was photographed during a rainy January afternoon in Southern California. The light I expected never arrived, which shifted the pace and tone of the shoot. Working slowly on Kodak Portra 400, the focus became quiet movement, pauses, and moments between direction. The images reflect the slower, more subdued atmosphere that settled in as the day went on.
