We stumbled into a cave filled with saucer jellyfish, drifting like stars in dark water. It felt like falling into space, unplanned, weightless, unreal. We spent the afternoon creating with my Nikonos on 400 TMax, unsure if anything would surface from the dark. The film deepened the dream, making the world more alien and soft. This series is part of an ongoing exploration of underwater landscapes, using the absence of gravity to bend perspective and play with the human form. It was also the first roll I developed myself, in a makeshift darkroom, an experiment shaped by chance and discovery.
