Tokyo has been a recurring point of interest in my work. As one of the world’s largest megacities, it operates with remarkable efficiency while allowing multiple realities to coexist within the same space. In this image, static architecture frames passing trains, reflecting my interest in how systems designed for constant motion can still accommodate moments of pause. The photograph observes the tension between permanence and transit as a defining condition of urban life.
