UnFrame: Self is a self-portrait series created with expired black-and-white film from my birth year, 1994. Photographing my own body, I use curled, unfolding, and re-contained gestures to trace a quiet narrative of female growth. The unpredictable marks of expired film mirror the fragile process of Alzheimer’s memory recall—where images resurface, shift, and fade. In this work, the body becomes both subject and archive, and photography becomes a space where time, memory, and identity intersect.
