Our eyes are not windows; they are organic pinhole cameras that receive a tiny aperture of light and render a world based on belief. "Mental Imagineering" materializes this internal act. Using custom, 3D-printed panoramic cameras, I bypassed the perfection of modern glass to capture the "Phaneron"—the world as it appears, before the brain corrects it. The resulting images are dark and scarred, mimicking the texture of a fading memory. This is an analog thesis on the limits of vision. In the blur, we are asked to focus. In the insufficient light, we discover the view.
