Off Season is a book of B&W images taken over a ten year year period looking at the small northern coastal Massachusetts town of Salisbury. It was a summer vacation destination for New Englanders and Eastern Canadians. During the winter months is was a boarded up, low income ghost town with a few temporary winter renters and driveways with old cars. For me it was a fascinating place to make photographs. I used a Rollei inherited from my grandfather. And at the end of each day of exposing film, I processed film, and later in the night, I made work prints.
