I began preparing for the photo series when my father broke a vertebra while gardening at the age of 90. I think it's time to convert the vegetable garden into a flower garden. So we used a lot of bulbous plants and planted some perennials. The sunflowers are sown annually. Other things were already there, come together anew every year or are added by birds or wind. The flowers provide the material for the photographs. They are picked, arranged and exposed on 4x5 (FUJI Provia) for 4 days. So they start dancing and moving. Photography records these traces of movement and makes them visible.
