Marek Majewski is a visual artist whose practice revolves around analog photography, film, and experimental processes. Somnium is an ongoing body of work exploring dreams, memory, and altered states of perception. The project was first developed as a self-published book titled Somnium. The series unfolds as an inner space shaped by fragments of dreams, memory, and shifting perceptions. Images emerge slowly, lingering in a state of suspension between presence and disappearance, clarity and blur, allowing ambiguity and silence to become integral parts of the viewing experience.
